So, I wrote this in the margins of a magazine article a couple of months ago, and then pinned it to the sea of papers that was my bulletin board (until I cleaned it off today). 

Now I get to play that game where I guess what it might mean.

I think that I was probably thinking about the relationship between a small business and their customers in some way.

The relationship brings about the method…

Sounds like it could have to deal with the method of communicating with your customers. Your relationship to them is going to determine the way that you communicate to them. Possibly something like, if your customers expect you to communicate with them by email, then they'll react better when they get your email if they really aren't expecting emailed communications from you.
That sounds plausible. Sure.

Anybody else have any thoughts on what I might have been thinking? I'm really curious now. 🙂
